Cartridge Heaters
Sords Electric sells Cartridge Heaters by Watlow and Chromalox.
Cartridge heaters are used for heating metal parts and liquid heating applications. They are inserted into drilled holes to heat metal parts or small spaces or used with flanges or NPT fittings to heat liquids by direct immersion.
Cartridge Heaters are available in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4 inch Diameters, wattages from 50 to 5000 and have standard voltages of 120 and 240 VAC. Standard lead lengths are 14 inches and are swaged. Custom heaters can be made with right angle fittings, longer leads, integral thermocouples and dual heating heaters are all possible.
